At school Leo is tormented by Butch, the class bully. At home, he is lonesome because his parents have forbidden him to visit his vampire friend Julio. One night Leo sneaks out to tell Julio about a poster contest for which Leo must submit an entry. Julio cannot go out in daylight but he draws a poster that Leo can submit. Butch accuses Leo of cheating and Leo has to call on some special help. Leo learns that Butch is an artist and they both help Julio.
