Grace McLeod Rogers (1865-1958) lived in Amherst, Nova Scotia.
She also wrote short stories and various historical texts, and was a leading member of the women's movement in the first decades of the 20th century.
Robin Sutherland is currently completing her PhD in English at the
University of New Brunswick. She has written numerous articles and academic papers on Canadian women's literature.
